Medical director and practitioner agreement
For the physician or nurse practitioner who authorizes treatments at your clinic. For clinics, practitioners and wellness brands.
What it is
A written agreement between a clinic and the physician or nurse practitioner who authorizes treatments there, or between the clinic and a practitioner who works in it. It sets out who does what: orders and directives, assessments, supervision, how adverse events are handled, records, insurance and pay.
In Ontario, many cosmetic treatments involve controlled acts, and the people performing them often rely on an order, directive or delegation from an authorized professional. A clear agreement makes those responsibilities explicit for the clinic and the practitioner, alongside the rules each professional college sets.

Questions founders ask
Does an agreement replace the college rules?
No. Each professional must still meet their own college’s standards. The agreement records how the clinic and the practitioner will work within them.
Can you review an agreement we were sent instead?
Yes. Reviewing an existing agreement is a contract review, starting at $400.
