Are your fees fixed?
Yes. Every engagement has a written scope and a fixed fee, agreed before any work starts. The prices on this page are starting prices that may vary based on complexity; the exact fee for your company is confirmed in writing before we begin.
What isn’t included in the starting price?
Anything outside the written scope. Each service lists what its starting price includes and what can change it. HST, government filing fees and other disbursements are extra. If something new comes up, we quote it first and you decide whether to add it.
Do you charge for the first call?
No. The first 15-minute call is free. It’s where we learn what you need and confirm the exact fee for your company.
What are government filing fees?
Fees charged by a government office or regulator for a filing, such as articles of incorporation, a trademark application to the Canadian Intellectual Property Office, or a report of exempt distribution to the Ontario Securities Commission. They aren’t part of our fee. We pass them through at cost, never marked up.
How fast is the work done?
Most work delivered within three business days. Work that depends on another party, such as a negotiation, moves at the pace the other side sets.
