Questions
What does the score mean?
It’s the share of the basics you said apply to your company and are already in place. Questions you mark as not applying are left out, so a solo founder isn’t marked down for not having a shareholder agreement. It’s a general self-check based only on your answers, not a legal opinion on your business or a prediction of any outcome.
Is a low score a problem?
Not on its own. Many early companies have gaps. The point is to see which ones may matter before you raise money, hire or sign a large customer, when they can get harder and more expensive to fix. Which gaps matter for you depends on your facts, which a lawyer can look at with you.
What happens if I send my results?
Your answers come to us with your name and email so we can reply. They’re stored in our client relationship system (HubSpot), as our privacy policy explains. We don’t sell them or share them beyond the service providers listed there. Sending them doesn’t make us your lawyers.
